I never thought that milestones would be so important. As I progress, it is not so much just the number of words that is exciting me, it is how I feel like I’m getting better with every page I write. 
On top of that, I knew when I “finished” composting that the skeleton for the story was tight. Now I’m just watching it unfold and all the parts falling into place. I just wish I had more time to write. At the moment it is maybe one day a week that I can put in.
Starting to map out the feel of the city. It is pretty clear in my head but I’m looking for more detail. I found this nice image by SolarSouth that I might see if I can use for inspiration. The devil is in the detail.
